MFI BORROWING LIMITS

  • RBI on November 8, 2019 increased the household income limits for borrowers of NBFC-MFIs from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.25 lakh for the rural agricultural areas.
  • The limit has been increased from Rs 1.6 lakh for urban or semi-urban areas to Rs 2 lakh

MOODY’S CREDIT RATING OUTLOOK

  • India’s credit score ratings outlook was cut to negative by Moody’s Investors Service
  • The foreign currency rating was retained at Baa2, the second-lowest investment grade score
